The Sunflower River Blues and Gospel Festival is held in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Clarksdale is located in Coahoma County which is full of Blues history. Often called the "Birthplace of the Blues" it is home to much Blues History which can be found at the Delta Blues Museum and at historical sites throughout the area.
